Keep the young core intact

Dudley is entering his 10th season in the NBA. He won’t be tasked to be the 3-D guy off the bench like he was back in 2010. His role will be fairly simple; be the vet for the team and keep everyone in check especially the young guys.

He’s already doing a great job this off-season with doing one of his task. Earlier this month he posted a photo on Twitter where he and the young guys were hanging out off the court.

With what will most likely be a losing season it’s normal for young guys to be frustrated. They won in all levels in their life whether it was in highschool or college. Dudley’s job is to make sure everyone knows what the future holds if they keep working.

People think he was overpaid but the presence he brings away from the court is priceless.
