In the middle of July news broke out that Brandon Knight tore his ACL. This means that he will most likely miss the rest of the season.

Knight was a hot topic in the rumor mill this past season and rightfully so. As the year progressed, he saw his minutes shrink each game. He was badly outplayed by sophomore Devin Booker and it wasn’t even close.

Booker was better than Knight in every way possible.

For Knight, he should work as hard as possible to recover from the injury. Luckily for him, the Suns have one of the best medical staff in the NBA. If he recovers properly he might get the chance to play and prove his worth. And who knows, maybe a team takes a flier on him.

In 2016-2017 Knight averaged 11.0 ppg, 2.4 apg, in 21 mpg. All of those were career lows for him ever since he came into the league back in 2011.
