Try to avoid a sophomore slump
At the second half of the season Marquese Chriss showed he was here to stay. He averaged 12.7 ppg and grabbed 5.9 rpg in a little under 27 minutes played. He also shot 49.8% from the field and 36% from beyond the arc.
Overall, he averaged 9.2 ppg and 4.2 rpg earning him the nod for NBA all-rookie second team.
During this years summer league he was a bit of a disappointment mostly because of his body language and the way he played. That may have to do with the fact that he gained muscle and his game is still adjusting to the changes in his body.
He is already the starting power forward for the Suns so there is no reason to doubt his improvement next season.
