August is a rough time of the year for basketball fans. It’s the wasteland between the free agency frenzy and the start of preseason. So, let’s take this time to reflect on the Phoenix Suns of the past.

In this series, the plan is to choose a best of the best roster from each decade the Suns have been around. Everything is going to based off of stats (pulled from Basketball-Reference.com, the Phoenix Suns website, and personal preference. Hopefully this allows for those that read to not only come up with their own “best of” rosters but also take a look back at teams past and realize how lucky we are as fans to be the fourth winningest team in NBA history.
