This is the player that predicting his future tip toes the line of gambling. You really have no idea what the finished product here is going to look like. At his floor, Bender looks to be a very capable defensive piece with a decent shooting touch and above average passing ability. Could he become a Dirk Nowitzki-type of big man? Absolutely. Could he be a Darko Milicic? Less likely, but also possible. With such little informationo on the Croatian Unicorn putting Bender somewhere in the middle just makes sense, and places him above even Marquese Chriss in future value.
