Let’s face it: we have definitely reached the slow point of NBA offseason.

NBA Free Agency is at a standstill. Blake Griffin, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Dion Waiters, Joe Ingles, Otto Porter, Dirk Nowitzki and more have all re-signed for their teams. Gordon Heyward, Paul Millsap, Jonathan Simmons, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, JJ Redick, Jamal Crawford, Rudy Gay and others have all moved on to a new team.

Many exciting trades have come and gone: Chris Paul to the Rockets; Danilo Gallinari to the Clippers; Paul George to the Thunder; and Jimmy Butler to the Timberwolves. But no big trades have gone down in the last few weeks.

There has been little to no progress made on the Carmelo trade saga. Some say that he will waive his no trade clause in a move to the Rockets. Others insist that a move to the Cavaliers is still on the table.

Then there is Kyrie Irving who apparently won’t commit to whatever team that trades for him. Oh, great. Now teams have an excuse to offer even less for him, while the Cavs continue to hope for a ridiculously loaded offer.

Enough is enough. We might as well just fast forward to next offseason. What is the first (and most exciting) part of any offseason? The draft. The Suns added Josh Jackson and others in this year’s draft. Who should they be looking at next year? Let’s take a look at a way-too-early list of prospects the Suns should look at in the 2018 NBA Draft.
