Phoenix Suns 2015 NBA Draft

SACRAMENTO, CA – APRIL 11: Devin Booker
SACRAMENTO, CA – APRIL 11: Devin Booker /

Original Picks:

Pick #                 Name
  13                 Devin Booker
  44               Andrew Harrison

The perfect draft! The Suns even in real time make the most of this selection and draft Devin Booker with the 13th overall pick.

This was the year that McDonough stated that he would grab the best talent, regardless of fit. And that he did.

Even with a loaded backcourt he decided to go with another guard. Which worked out as the Suns have their starting shooting guard and face of the franchise for years to come.

McDonough also flipped the 44th overall pick for cash considerations, instead of adding a player who most likely wouldn’t make the final roster regardless.

However, someone like Norman Powell would have been a potentially useful player over Andrew Harrison, so here we’ll will take him anyway.

Result:

13th: Devin Booker

44th: Norman Powell
