Valley of the Suns Live! is our weekly show dedicated to conversing with YOU on Monday evenings live from 6-7pm AZ on Twitter and Periscope!

This week the Suns have been inundated with huge trade speculation revolving around Kylie Irving which has turned much of the Valley of the Suns upside down. Mo day night we focused on the trade rumors in particular, including the three-team trade scenarios that have been widely discussed, and now the new information regarding how close Phoenix was in trading for Irving prior to the June Draft.

Whether or not the Suns trade for Irving, Suns fans seem absolutely adamant that Josh Jackson, along with Devin Booker, are untouchable as their projected upside may be too high to risk in a trade for a player who may jump ship in two to three years.

We also discussed Eric Bledsoe’s recent comment about liking Phoenix but wanting to win. Fans have not taken those comments with any offense as it is difficult to blame a competitive star play for not wanting to waste his prime years on a team who has not won more than 24 games in the last two seasons.

However, was his comment nothing more than just a passive statement to a question? Or was it the most polite public trade demand in the history of sports? We compared his situation to another former Suns point guard and agreed that he could end up nabbing the Suns a very good return if traded.

Also, if you missed last Friday’s Valley of the Suns Live! Special Edition where we strictly discussed the then breaking Kylie news, you can watch that here as well!
