Dream signing: Blake Griffin (28)

Realistic signing: Zach Randolph (36 when season starts)

Adding a player like Blake Griffin would be an excellent addition. Not only would he be a great starter on a young team, but, would bump up fan morale as well. A front court consisting of Griffin, Chriss and Jackson would be fun to watch when including Bledsoe and Booker in the back court. There are concerns in regards to health with Griffin but the Suns training staff is known for being a fountain of youth for older and/or injury prone players. Griffin is still in his prime as a player and would add a veteran presence to a team in need of some extra direction.

Zach Randolph is by no means a “sexy” free agent signing. He is pretty far past his prime at the tender age of 36. The plus of adding someone like Randolph though is the veteran leadership he would bring as well as a willingness to play off the bench. Randolph shot a sold 45% from the field last year while averaging 14 points per game. He shouldn’t be demanding a large contact and would be a great teacher for both Dragan Bender, Chriss and possibly Jackson and T.J. Warren.
