Dream signing: Stephen Curry (29)

Realistic signing: Trey Burke (24)

Steph Curry is considered one of the best players in the league. Based on an article written by Dan Bickley from AZ Central, he should be wearing a Phoenix Suns jersey already. Curry is a dynamic scorer with excellent court vision, able to find the open man with ease. He is solid defensively but will never be an elite defender. Imagine what a back court of Curry and Devin Booker would look like for the Suns. An addition like this would easily skyrocket the Suns into playoff contention even with minimal roster movement. Unfortunately, this is definitely a dream scenario. There is little to no chance for he Suns to pull off this signing. They should throw some money his way just in case though.

Trey Burke is the more realistic of the two. He fits the age of the core and could fit a back up role better than Brandon Knight. Burke hasn’t been a starter the last two season (with Utah and Washington respectively) and only averaged 12 minutes per game last year. He shot decently from the field (46% from the field and 44% from three). He’s another player that isn’t known for their defense but should be able to fill in as a role player behind Eric Bledsoe and Tyler Ulis. If the Suns wanted to really be crazy the could ship out both Bledsoe and Knight and have a point guard rotation of Ulis and Burke for the next year.
