Bring Home the Championship

The Phoenix Suns have never won a Summer League Championship, missing out on several opportunities in the past – including last year when they had Booker for a couple of games dominating the opposition.

With a roster of second year players in Chriss, Bender, and Ulis, plus the edition of Jackson and Reed, this summer could once again be a very good opportunity to finally take home a  title – although the Summer League title is meaningless in the grand scheme of things and will be quickly forgotten as things shift at the pro level. However, the win – especially with a positive impact by the players guaranteed to make the Suns’ roster – could be a sign of things to come in the future, and watching the Summer League Suns find success on the court, will give Suns fans greater hope that things are finally moving in the right direction in earnest
