5. player. 67. . Point Guard. Sacramento Kings (via the 76ers). frank Nitilikina

This is the first major reach of the draft, but hey – it’s Vlade Divac and the Sacramento Kings so what do you expect? When the Suns take Fox and shun any overtures for a trade, Divac panics and grabs Frank as his perceived next best option at point. Rather than staying patient and taking the best player available, he way overvalues Frank’s size (6’5″) and age (18). Blowing the ability to grab Tatum or Collins here then take Frank or Dennis Smith at ten, the Kings throw the first curveball of the draft – and no one was surprised.
