#4 Suns have the option to draft Fox, Issac, Tatum

If Josh Jackson is not available at number four, then the Suns will have their selection of three other legitimate talents in the aforementioned De’Aaron Fox and Jayson Tatum, as well as Johnathan Issac.

The decision between those three is where the level of dissension really hits a fever pitch. Fortunately, while none of them are necessarily at the level as Fultz, Ball, and Jackson at the moment, each have a level of upside that could easily rival their predecessors in the future.

Tatum reportedly blew Suns management away with his shooting when he worked out for Phoenix, and if it is scoring that the Suns want to add, he would be the exceptional pick. If his defense could ever come close to matching his offensive potential, than he will rival even Josh Jackson as the best two-way player drafted this year.

If the Suns go with De’Aaron Fox, then immediately Eric Bledsoe’s days (if not minutes) are numbered. While many Suns fans will be extremely disappointed to see Bledsoe leave, the return on he star could be something to make all fans gleeful. Not only might Fox end up being the best defensive point guard in the draft, but the potential return of a player and future first round draft picks for Bledsoe makes the selection of Fox very interesting moving forward.

It has been speculated that Johnathan Issac has the most upside of any player in this draft. His size, athleticism, and motor rivals every other player that will be selected today. However, he is by far the most raw of the top tier of names and thus would be at least a year or two away from actually showing what his potential might end up being. However, the knowledge that his ceiling is sky-high will excite fans regardless, and while he probably won’t be in the running for Rookie of the Year in 2017-18, other accolades could follow, if not jewelry.
