The Suns are on the clock – but then they get a call.

The Decision
The Suns would also lose the ability to draft Josh Jackson, future starting center Marquese Chriss, as well as one first round pick next year. He’d probably be able to trade Knight, Chandler, and or Noah, as well as other pieces to help both mitigate the addition of salary, as well as potentially obtain at least one if not more first round picks for use later. Still, the pieces he was losing are some exciting pieces to give up, even if the Suns are receiving a guy who’s nick name has ‘God’ in it.
On the other hand, the opportunity to get a guaranteed core player building block to place next to Devin Booker is a very exciting thought. McDonough imagined the trouble teams would have trying to shut down both Booker and Porzingis, not to mention T.J. Warren and Eric Bledsoe. Sure, most defenses might be able to stifle one of those players, but all four? Never. Certainly only would it be a rarity that two would be slowed down in one night.
Quickly McDonough scanned twitter, and he came across a Valley of the Suns poll where Suns fans were asked about this very proposition. He decided that however the fans voted, he would make that call.
So, did he accept, or not?
