25th Pick

The Suns send Knight and a late 2nd round pick to Orlando. Orlando picks up an instant offense player, something they wouldn’t find at this pick. They dump CJ Watson to lighten Knight’s contract burden. And they get another pick this year to add depth or a draft and stash player. Phoenix dumps Knight and picks up a pick, which is about the best case scenario they can ask for.

Forward. Syracuse. Tyler Lydon. 25. player. 66.

Lydon is a bit of a tweener when it comes to the forward position. He can shoot like a 3, but he has the size of a 4. He’s very athletic, but still projects to be more of a small ball 4 than a 3. However, he has great skill and is proficient in almost every area, which is an attractive type of player to have now-a-days. Even just a few years ago, players like Michael Beasley and Derrick Williams didn’t have much of a place in the NBA. But now, with the way the Warriors are changing the game, tweeners are more valuable than ever. Lydon has a lot of upside and improvable skill sets to work with, and that could interest a lot of teams, the Suns included.
