6th Pick

This trade isn’t a bad deal for either team involved. For Phoenix, they move back a few spots, and they get a starting caliber center in Vucevic. Vucevic is an above-average rebounder, and is a good scorer and paint protector as well. For the Magic, they move up to get presumably Tatum or Fox, and they get a good veteran center to mentor their young players, without taking on much more cap. The Magic need to retool their core and get a star player, and trading Vucevic helps them get a better player this year, and a better pick next year.

. Forward. Florida State. Jonathan Isaac. 6. player. 66

With Tatum and Dennis Smith Jr. off the board, the Suns love Isaac at six. I’ve already talked about his defensive potential and versatility. Jonathan also has plenty of offensive upside. He has a good shooting stroke, an unselfish attitude, and moves pretty well off-ball. He needs to improve his ball handling, especially if the Suns want him to stay at the Small Forward position.
