10th Pick

The Phoenix Suns pick up the 10th pick in the draft, and they trade bad contracts with the Kings. Afflalo most likely wouldn’t suit up for Phoenix, but if he did, he’d provide solid defense and shooting off the bench, similar to Jared Dudley. For the Kings, the reason they’d do this deal is two-fold. One one hand, if they don’t overly like anyone at the 10 position, they might move the pick to pick up another pick next year, in a draft that might be even better and deeper than this one. They’d also pick up Brandon Knight. Knight is two years removed from almost being an All-Star, and he’s still only 25 years on a relatively team-friendly deal for 3 more years.

66. . Small Forward. North Carolina. Justin Jackson. 10. player

Jackson is an intriguing prospect for the Suns. As said before, he doesn’t have the highest ceiling, especially for a top 10 pick. However, he possibly has the highest floor. He is a Malcom Brogdon type of player. He is talented, experienced, and brings a lot to the table. There’s some defensive upside, and his offensive game is already pretty polished. Jackson would be a good addition to this Suns roster.
