13th Pick

The odds are that Denver will only trade their pick if it’s to move up into the beginning of the lottery to try and get a star. However, an offer like this could be intriguing to them. This trade would give them four 2nd round picks in this draft, including the 32nd overall. They could easily package that and a player to get back into the first round, if there’s someone they like in the 20’s. They also get Brandon Knight, who could challenge Mudiay for the starting point guard role. The Suns pick up the 13th pick, as well as Arthur, who would mostly be a salary dump to match Knight’s salary. The main pickup for Phoenix would be that 13th pick though.

66. . Center. Gonzaga. Zach Collins. 13. player

Zach Collins has a somewhat limited serving size, having played only 17 minutes a game this last season. However, his skills project him to be a good center in the ever-evolving NBA game. He can shoot, post up, rebound, and perhaps most importantly for Phoenix, defend. He is a very good shot blocker, and he would probably be a higher pick if he had more playing time for Gonzaga. Collins could become everything the Suns wanted Alex Len to be, and more. Even if he doesn’t reach his full potential though, Collins would be a great player for Phoenix.
