Much like Tony Bradley, Ike is a big unproven body.  Some mocks have him as high as 12.  I believe that’s a huge reach but speaks to his extreme potential.  You can’t teach size and while he’s only 6’10” he has a staggering 7’6″ wingspan.   Add to his size the fact that he’s an explosive leaper with a quick second jump.  When the ball goes up, he has a constant motor that teams have to pay attention to.  He’s a raw 18 year old prospect, but he has shown a good ability to run the floor, own the boards, and play defense.  Tyson Chandler hasn’t been able to bring the best out of Alex Len yet, but maybe taking on a tall undeveloped young teenager might remind him of his own start in the league and perhaps that will produce better results.
