Amare was the second best player on the Suns throughout the 7 Seconds or Less era. He was an explosive athlete the likes of which we’ve rarely seen. His combo of power, height, and strength made him nearly impossible to guard in his prime. Knee injuries slowed him too soon, but he’s easily the second best player in the draft class trailing just the 1st pick, Yao Ming.
