We march on with our review of every Suns first round pick in history, and whether or not the team made the right selection.

Here’s a reminder of the rules: there are no trades, and all picks prior to the Suns’ pick will remain the same. Based on the remaining pool of players for each year, we’ll look at who the Suns actually took in real life, and who was still left on the board that perhaps would have had a better impact for the team.

For this article, we also do not take into account continuity of picks, meaning that even if we think the Suns should have taken a point guard, that doesn’t mean the following year that we take that into consideration when deciding who the team should have selected. Each year is independent from the others.

With that being said, let’s begin where we left off in Part 3 at the 2002 draft.
