Tyler Ennis UFA

Previously for Phoenix: 8 games in 2014-15

Originally drafted 18th overall by the Suns in 2014, Ennis appeared in only eight games before being a part of the three-team trade that netted Phoenix Brandon Knight. Even though Jason Kidd was publicly in love with Ennis when Milwaukee acquired him, the second-year player was traded to the Houston Rockets a year later for…Michael Beasley.

Although with worse stats overall than Brandon Knight, if Knight is traded then Ennis might not be a horrible third-string point guard to play behind Eric Bledsoe and Tyler Ulis. He will only be 23-years-old when the season starts – which fits into the Suns’ youth movement – and the re-acquisition would actually be the ultimate 360 move. And who knows, with so many players not flourishing under former Head Coach Jeff Hornacek, maybe he might take a step forward under Earl Watson.

Kris Humphries UFA

Previously for Phoenix: 4 games in 2015-16

Much like Luis Scola, Kris Humphries just isn’t very good anymore. The difference between the two, however, is that Humphries is five years younger and while that doesn’t mean that he would be that  much better, he could still be counted on to carry additional minutes in an emergency situation at power forward.

Having played in only four games for Phoenix in 2015-16 his connection to the franchise runs about as deep as a player picked up on a 10-day contract. He doesn’t have the connection to make fans long for his return and played so recently that the only memories that his return might drudge up is that of the franchise’s losing. He wouldn’t be the worst signing the Suns might consider, but he’s far from anything decent.
