The Matrix was arguably the second most important player for the Suns in the 7 Seconds or Less era, after Steve Nash. Marion could play either forward position, and was one of the best defenders in the NBA. He was also a great scorer and rebounder to boot, and his athleticism and hustle made him a fan favorite in Phoenix. The only player that could be argued here is Manu Ginobili. However, as a die-hard Suns fan, I would never want Manu on my team, and frankly Marion had a better statistical career regardless.
