Who The Suns Should Have Taken:

Paul Pressey, Small Forward/Shooting Guard, Tulsa – Originally taken by the Milwaukee Bucks with the 20th overall pick

Most people have no idea who David Thirdkill is, and for good reason. He had about as impact-less a career as you can have in the NBA. The 1982 draft was very top-heavy, but there were still a couple of impact players the Suns missed out on. Pressey didn’t have the longest career, and he wasn’t a huge scorer. However, his versatility was incredibly valuable. He could do a little bit of everything, and was a big part of the Milwaukee Bucks’ success in the late 80s.

Ricky Pierce was also an option here.
