World B. Free, Guard, Guilford – Originally taken by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 23rd overall pick

Career Stats:

886 GP, 20.3 PPG, 2.7 RPG, 3.7 APG, 45.6% FG

Sobers wasn’t a bad pick by any means, but World B. Free was an exceptional scorer, and with the Suns staying with Adams at 4, Free at 16 would have been a very good find for the Suns going into the 1976 Finals run.
