Number 3: Eric Bledsoe to the Nuggets

In this scenario, the Suns add quality depth at the wing position, as well as what is projected to be the 13th pick in the draft, save a lottery miracle (more like curse) that propels the Nuggets into the top part of the draft. They get a bench scorer in Barton, a solid 3 and D wing in Chandler, and a chance to draft a young center to put behind Tyson Chandler or Alex Len.

The Nuggets have a lot of above-average assets, but only one amazing one in Nikola Jokic. They have depth at every position, but no real stars to pair with Jokic. They could lose Danilo Gallinari in free agency, and both Emmanuel Mudiay and Jamal Murray haven’t quite developed yet. Denver gets an All-Star caliber guard to pair with Jokic, and turn some of their assets into a better player, something that most teams have been trying to do without success for the past several years.
