Number 2: Eric Bledsoe to the Bucks

At first glance, the Suns seem to give up a lot. However, Thon Maker showed flashes of brilliance throughout the season, and has played exceedingly well in the playoffs. He’s displayed a shooting touch, the ability to alter or block a shot, and a versatility that only increases his potential. The Suns also get the 17th pick in the 1st round in a range where they can draft a solid wing defender, as well as a decent backup center in Henson.

For the Bucks, they get another playmaker to allow Malcolm Brogdon to move back to the bench. They also get more athletic, better on defense, and someone who can allow Giannis Antetokounmpo to play more off-ball and not have to score so much for the team to succeed. They give up Maker, but they get back Bender, a player who has similar attributes as Maker, though hasn’t shown them much yet at the NBA level.
