Number 1: Eric Bledsoe to the 76ers

This would be an almost dream scenario for the Suns. Not only would they get another top-5 pick in the draft, but this would be only be available because the Lakers had lost their. This would easily set L.A. back another year or two on their already questionable rebuild. Depending on the position of the pick and who is taken before it, the Suns would have a chance to draft Josh Jackson, Jayson Tatum, or even Lauri Markkanen, each of whom would fit in the timeline with the rest of the stars, but also would help Phoenix win more right away.

The 76ers too would benefit greatly from this trade. For the Lakers to lose their pick, it has to fall out of the top-3. The most likely team to move into the top-3 anews take their spot is the Sixers. This trade gives the 76ers a starting point guard on a decent contract, and they still keep their top-3 pick to take perhaps Malik Monk or Josh Jackson. With Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid coming back from injury, Philadelphia immediately enters the playoff conversation in the East, with room to only get better and stronger as the giant of the East starts to age – LeBron James.

The Suns might also try to get the team to take on a bad contract as well, presumably Brandon Knight, but perhaps the likes of Dudley or Chandler instead, especially if the 76ers are shifting gears and focusing on winning right away. The flip side of the coin is that the Sixers might ask the Suns to take on a bad contract, most likely Gerald Henderson, who makes around $9 million a year.
