Lou Williams is the victim of good stats/bad team. He was a monster off the bench for L.A. and at times was the only reason the Lakers were even competitive. Williams led the NBA with points off the bench (1,408) and even after being traded to Houston his statistics (which has considerably more talent) his statistics held up. The problem is that he still played 58 games on a 20-win team and because of that his accomplishments will not be viewed as significant.

The best story of Lou Williams this season was the 24 hour timeline in which he was traded. He had to fly from L.A. to Houston for physical then from Houston to New Orleans to play against the Pelicans and ended up scoring 27 points and hitting seven three-pointers in the process.

Williams is having a great season but even my his own account there is one other player performing better.
