At this point, we have no idea what pick Phoenix will find themselves in when the ping pong balls settle and are selected on May 16. Sure, the team is in full tank mode and has the second worst record in the West at 22-49, but we all know that the lottery is a dark, unpredictable and mysterious force. So, let’s say the Suns pick sixth in an unfortunate turn of events (wow would that be terrible). Sure, you might miss out on Markelle Fultz, Lonzo Ball, Jayson Tatum, Jonathan Isaac, and Dennis Smith Jr., in no particular order, but there ARE  three incredibly talented players below them that aren’t seen at the tippy-top of a lot of mock drafts. I’m referring, of course, to the freshman phenoms Malik Monk, Bam Adebayo and DeAaron Fox, who all play… where? You guessed it! Kentucky! Drafting anyone of these three would be delicious, nutritious bait to reel Drake in with. (Or, maybe McDonough pulls a 2016 and trades up again?)
