I think the Nuggets would be better served to trade this pick than to keep it because there’s no one here that is going to have the franchise changing impact they need. If they have to pick here Bam Bam (that’s what his mom calls him) is a pretty good replacement for the manimal. He has a high motor and has finished off the year in impressive fashion. His polish on his free throws indicates he has potential to eventually stretch the floor a bit. He’s a long shot to develop into an elite player, but he should be a nice starter or role player for years to come.. Power Forward/Center. Denver Nuggets. bam adebayo. 16. player. 73

miles bridges. 17. player. 64. On a team with Tobias Harris, Stanley Johnson, and Marcus Morris, this pick doesn’t make sense from a fit perspective, but the Pistons just don’t make sense right now. They can’t find a winning formula and they’re going to make to make some big changes at point guard if they want to contend. I’ve previously blogged about the potential of trading Drummond to Phoenix and while the Suns might not be the right fit, you can bet that Jackson and Drummond will be frequently brought up in trade discussions this summer. Knowing that the Pistons are in a trading mood, Bridges is the best player on the board and gives them depth to include Harris, Johnson, Morris, or this pick in a broader deal to get a better rounded team. Detroit has a lot of talent, it just doesn’t fit together right now and this pick is likely to be part of a deal to fix that problem.. Small Forward/Power Forward. Detroit Pistons

18. player. 100. Larry legend is going to have to accept the sad fact that PG13 is on his way out of town. If he’s wise, he will deal him to Boston for a glut of young talent and rebuild the Pacers around the stupid talented Myles Turner. If you assume George gone, the talent level in Indiana is paper thin. Hartenstein is the player left on the board with the most talent. He’s 7’0″ with three point range, good athleticism and probably would have been in the discussion for top 10 in this draft if he could have stayed healthy. At this point in the draft, the Pacers should just shoot for upside and hope that the return on George gives them enough to be competitive in 4-6 years.. . Indiana Pacers. isaiah hartenstein

player. 125. The Hawks have loaded up over the last two years on young guards and small forwards. They are talented, but old and slow at power forward and center. Collins is an explosive player who won’t have the range of Millsap, but would be a nice piece coming off the bench behind Howard. Assuming they keep their current team together, he makes them more competitive and that’s about all you can ask for in this spot.. Power Forward. Atlanta Hawks. john collins. 19

149. Rabb deserves to go a lot higher than this. I’m convinced he’s going to be a starting power forward in the NBA for a decade and a pretty good one. When he was thinking about entering the draft last year, he was being compared to Chris Bosh. He decided to go back to college for an extra year and all he has done is put up 14, 11, and 2. While not the dominance people might have hoped for, the skill set is there and he’s playing through the system as he’s asked to. OKC always comes away with Spur-like picks and this is going to be another classic example.. . Oklahoma City Thunder. ivan rabb. 21. player
