Brandon Knight

11 points, 2.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 21.1 minutes per game

Maybe it’s the limited minutes, maybe it was the demotion to the bench, or maybe Devin Booker’s rise has psychologically destroyed him, but regardless of the reason, Brandon Knight is playing awful.

One season ago Knight was a 19 point, 5 assist, 5 rebound player and the Bledsoe-Booker-Knight trio looked to be a powerful combo going far into the future. But once an Eastern Conference All-Star snub, Knight has turned into one of the worst high-paid performers in the NBA. Knight is currently 195th in efficiency and has the 3rd worst net rating of all players in the league at -12.1.

Knight’s best game of the season came way back on November 16, against the Denver Nuggets when he recorded 32 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, in 28 minutes.

Do not be surprised if Knight is moved either at the trade deadline or during the off-season. Knight is still a great player and at only 24 still has many years ahead of him. Given a change in scenery Knight might be able to return to his previous form.
