The Final 2017 Roster

After all is said and done, the Suns will have an almost brand new team. That isn’t a bad thing. Phoenix will consist of young and bright players all with HUGE upside.

By retaining basically the entire 2016 roster, adding veteran talent to come off the bench, and securing a powerful post game, the Suns 2016-2017 team will look very much rebuilt.

  • Dragan Bender (Forward)
  • Devin Booker (Guard)
  • Marquese Chriss (Forward)
  • Archie Goodwin (Guard)
  • Brandon Knight (Guard)
  • Alex Len (Center)
  • Jon Leuer (Forward/Center)
  • Ronnie Price (Guard)
  • Mirza Teletovic (Forward) (Potentially)
  • P.J. Tucker (Forward)
  • Tyler Ulis (Guard)
  • T.J. Warren (Forward)
  • Alan Williams (Forward/Center)
  • Jamal Crawford (Guard)
  • Brandon Jennings (Guard)
  • Jared Dudley (Forward)
  • Jahlil Okafor (Center)

With this being a 16, possibly 17, man roster, the Suns will have to cut at least one player. Unfortunately, Alan Williams will be the guy to go. He was a complete bench warmer in 2016. With the additions to Okafor, Chriss, and Bender, his role will decrease even more next season. The Suns will have to make the decision to cut him before next year.
