Ronnie Price, G, 32 years old

Initial thoughts:

Price was brought in to provide depth off the bench at the guard position and back-up Eric Bledsoe at the point guard position. He hasn’t been a bad player, however, he just hasn’t been spectacular in any sense averaging just 5.6 points and 1.2 assists in 14.4 minutes per game.

Areas of Strength:

Price’s efficiency has been a solid; he’s converted on 50 percent of his field goal attempts, while knocking down 42 percent of his three-point attempts. Defensively, Price averages 1.2 steals per contest and gets after the opposition.

Area of Weakness:

Price fills his role, and is decent in most aspects of the game. There hasn’t been anything drastic about his approach that warrants any attention.

Moving Forward:

Price just needs to continue to occupy his role on this team. His shooting hasn’t been terrible and he values the ball when it’s in his hands.

Overall Grade:

C+ – Overall a solid back-up point guard. The Suns could a lot worse.
