8. The First Nationally Televised Game

Nationally Televised? TNT

Phoenix’s biggest test at home to start the 2015-16 campaign will also be its first nationally televised game of the season. And since the Suns only play three games on TNT and two games on ESPN this year, it’s no surprise that this first TNT game will be a big one.

Last season, the Suns went 0-4 against the Clippers, losing by an average margin of 8.8 points per game. The one game they were close (an overtime loss), well, this happened:

With showstoppers like Blake Griffin and Chris Paul in town, this game would be worth watching for its star power alone. But when you factor in that it’s Phoenix’s first true home test of the year and the fact that Griffin and P.J. Tucker REALLY don’t like each other, the Suns’ first nationally televised game of the season is a must-watch.
