9. The Return Of Mook

The Opponent: Detroit Pistons

Nationally Televised? No, but it damn well should be

Suns fans won’t have to wait long to let Marcus Morris know what they think about him. In fact, Phoenix’s fourth home game and fifth overall game of the season will come against Mook and the visiting Detroit Pistons. I don’t really need to put into words why Marcus Morris’ homecoming will be one of the top home games of the entire 2015-16 season, but let me try anyway.

This is the guy that screamed at head coach Jeff Hornacek on the sidelines during a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. This is the guy who didn’t hesitate to chime in when his twin brother bashed the home fans, despite being little more than a role player off the bench. This is the guy who called the Suns “clowns” and took to Twitter to bash on Suns fans once again.

This is the guy who had the audacity to call the trade to Detroit a “slap in the face” despite facing impending felony aggravated assault charges. The Morrii are innocent until proven guilt, of course, but you can add those charges to a laundry list of incidents that made the Suns look bad for investing in the twins.

Whether Markieff Morris is still on the roster or not will be irrelevant, since this might be one of the most packed games of the season for such a lowly opponent. The crowd will boo Marcus relentlessly, the Suns will look to make a statement and Keef might be caught somewhere in the middle. How could this NOT be one of the most highly anticipated games of the year?
