Strengths

Rozier is raw, but even though he’s short, he has the other physical attributes to be able to compete at the next level. He’s an athletic guard with the strength and the leaping ability to burn his defenders, while his bursts of speed help him cover ground with the ball before his man can react.

With a 6’8″ wingspan, Rozier has great length despite being a tad undersized, and that very length may have helped him rack up two steals a game with the Cardinals last season. When he picked his opponents’ pockets, he was able to put all that speed and athleticism to good use as an effective finisher around the rim:

Though Rozier’s shooting percentages could definitely use some work, he actually has a fairly efficient midrange jumper that he’s capable of getting off off the dribble. It’s also worth noting that as a freshman, Rozier was a pretty effective three-point shooter, knocking down 37.1 percent of his 2.6 attempts per game from downtown.

At 190 pounds, it’s amazing this undersized guard can hold his own against bigger, stronger competition, but between his respectable defense, his surprisingly stout rebounding abilities and his agility, Rozier has a chance for his game to translate to the pros.
