Rashad Vaughn

Rashad Vaughn is a bit of an upside pick. As an 18-year-old freshman from UNLV, Vaughn is coming off a season in which he averaged 17.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while shooting 43.9 percent from the floor (38.3 percent from three-point range on 6.1 attempts per game).

He’s not particularly efficient with his shot yet, but he has the potential to be a very good scorer at the NBA level. He already as the build for it as a 6’5″ shooting guard (remember, he’s only 18) and though he lacks the kind of wingspan that makes Jay Bilas foam at the mouth, he’s very athletic and attacks the basket well.

He needs to improve his three-point shot, however, and probably won’t be an option for the Suns at No. 13. Vaughn was also unavailable to speak to the media.
