Delon Wright

Delon Wright, a 6’6″ point guard coming off his senior season at Utah, is projected to be a late first round pick. He’s a good defender who has great size for his position and he sees the floor extremely well.

His three-point shot needs some work, but he improved it last season to a respectable 35.6 percent on 2.1 attempts per game. Wright lacks elite athleticism, but he’s a tremendous defender who plays passing lanes well. He’s probably not an option for the Suns at No. 13, however, since that’d be quite a reach, even for a point guard of his size.

Wright averaged 14.5 points, 5.1 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game for the Utes last season while shooting 50.9 percent from the field. He was unavailable to speak to the media after his Suns workout.
