Overview

As the 2015 NBA Draft approaches, we’ll be taking a look at the top prospects in this year’s class to gain a sense of what the Phoenix Suns should do with their pick. Today, we’ll be taking a look at Devin Booker.

Part of Kentucky’s annual mass exodus to the league, this 6’6″ freshman has been projected to go to the Suns in multiple mocks, including the Arizona Republic’s most recent rendition.

At just 18 years old, Booker has an enormous amount of potential and fills a significant need for the Suns as a pure shooter.

Phoenix had Booker in for a workout on Monday and it’s pretty apparent he’s someone they’re considering with the first pick.

While he doesn’t fit the combo guard archetype that general manager Ryan McDonough gets googly-eyed for, he has the skill set to make an impact quickly.
