Rakeem Christmas

From his numbers in his senior season at Syracuse, you would think that Rakeem Christmas deserves to be a lottery pick. He averaged 17.5 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game for the Orange this season while shooting 55.2 percent from the field.

Christmas is a 6’10” defensive center who can block shots, protect the boards and run the floor well for a big man. He’s a good passer out of the post and on paper, sounds like a great fit for any team.

Unfortunately, Christmas is already 23 years old and will turn 24 in December, which is why he’s currently projected as a second round pick. He’s ranked No. 39 on Ford’s Big Board.

Christmas was unavailable for comment after his pre-draft workout with the Suns.
