Darrun Hilliard

Coming off a disappointing finish to his senior season in the NCAA Tournament, Villanova’s Darrun Hilliard averaged 14.3 points per game while shooting 38.7 percent from three-point range on 5.8 attempts per game. Even so, Hilliard says the biggest thing teams want to see from him centers around his shot.

“Obviously they know I can shoot the ball pretty well, they want to know if I can shoot it at a consistent basis at the NBA line,” he said. “It’s a lot different from college, I think they want to see that, they want to see how athletic I am — maybe I didn’t show that enough in college — and also if I can defend my position.”

Hilliard is projected as either a second round draft choice on an undrafted prospect.
