Overview

As the 2015 NBA Draft approaches, we’ll be taking a look at the top prospects in this year’s class to gain a sense of what the Phoenix Suns should do with their pick. Today, we’ll be taking a look at Sam Dekker.

Dekker recently entered the NBA Draft after three seasons at University of Wisconsin, where he was named Second Team All-Big Ten twice. The 6’9″, 230-pound swingman averaged 13.9 points per game while shooting 52.5 percent from the field this past season, leading the Badgers to the national title game.

The talented player emerged from Frank Kaminsky’s shadow when the games mattered most, hitting clutch shot after clutch shot in the NCAA Tournament. Dekker, who was a five-star recruit coming out of highschool, is expected to be picked somewhere in the middle of the first round of the draft.
