As we’ve been detailing over the last few days, the Phoenix Suns have a long and mostly painful history in the NBA Draft. They’ve made some horrendous draft-day trades recently. They’ve blown an absurd amount of quality picks. They also have had very little luck moving up in the draft lottery.

But the Suns haven’t been completely helpless in the draft either. Like most franchises, they’ve seen their fair share of ups and downs. No team in the NBA has nailed EVERY pick they’ve ever taken. Sometimes you find a gem; sometimes it’s just a pile of rocks.

But after spending a week focusing on the negative, it’s time to put on the rose-colored glasses (or in this case, the purple-colored glasses) and remember the good times.

For the most part, Phoenix’s draft history has been a series of mistakes and poor decision-making. But every once in a while, the Suns would absolutely nail their pick, adding an incremental part of the team to their roster.

Here’s a look at the 10 best draft picks in Phoenix Suns franchise history, starting with the honorable mentions. (Hopefully we’ll be able to add Archie Goodwin, T.J. Warren and/or Markieff Morris to this list a few years down the line.)

Honorable Mentions: Kyle Macy, Cedric Ceballos
