4. If (by some miracle) the Suns sneak into the top three in the 2015 NBA Draft Lottery, who should they take?

Bourguet:  Karl-Anthony Towns or Jahlil Okafor, whichever one is left on the board. If the Suns get the third pick and both are gone, they can’t go wrong with Justise Winslow. He’d fit a need on the wing, though there’d be yet another young wing to try and find minutes for if that were the case.

Hann:  Jahlil Okafor. On this team, he would be the second coming of (the good) Amar’e Stoudemire, with a little defense mixed in there as well. Pair him and Alex Len together as the Suns’ starting frontcourt and they are set for the next 10 years. Just to clarify though: THIS IS NEVER HAPPENING.

Chasen:  It has to be Towns. He has the biggest upside of anyone, but he’ll only be available if the Suns pick first. After that, I’d be more than okay with either Jahlil Okafor or Willie Cauley-Stein, although if it ended up being the third pick, I wouldn’t count out the idea that the Suns could take Justise Winslow. However, I’d really like to see the Suns go with a big in this draft.

Saar:  Phoenix would be in a great position if the unlikely impossible happens. You can go Towns or Okafor, but I’d lean toward Justise Winslow as I advocated in an article recently. D’Angelo Russell would also work as an awesome 2-guard system again, but I want Archie Goodwin to get a TON of minutes this year.

Harris:  I think D’Angelo Russell from Ohio St. is the most ready-made pro, but with Brandon Knight and Bledsoe, the Suns really don’t need another point guard. However, if they did get the third pick, I think they should take Justise Winslow from Duke. The Suns do not have the forward spot secure with the Morris twins being in legal limbo, plus Winslow was absolutely amazing at Duke.
