4. Is re-signing Brandan Wright a priority?

Bourguet: If the Suns re-sign Brandon Knight, they might as well keep Brandan Wright as well. Re-signing Knight would eat up most of Phoenix’s cap room, not nearly enough to sign a game-changing free agent. Wright is a great locker room presence and a solid backup center. This team won’t be contending for anything other than a playoff appearance next season, so keeping Wright for the time being is a decent idea.

Chasen: Definitely. I’ve come around on this recently. I love the idea that he can stay on and help develop guys and bring his good attitude every day. I also think he’s a good plug-in player, for when Len or whomever is injured, is in foul trouble or just not playing well. If the “price is Wright” (no pun intended Steph Curry), I think it should be a priority to resign him.

Hann: Absolutely, he can defend, run the floor, score, and rebound, block shots and is the consummate professional. If the Suns need a locker room leader next season, Wright, who’s game is tailor-made for the Suns playing style, wouldn’t be a bad option to go with. It is crucial that, if Wright is resigned, the Suns are able to bring in another skilled power forward to play in the same unit as Wright, taking some of the onus off the lanky center.

Saar: Definitely, unless they draft a similar player. I would re-sign him though, trade the Morrii and draft the best power forward they can in this draft.

Harris: I would not call it a priority, but resigning Brandan Wright should be on the menu for the Suns. Loosing Wright would not decimate the Suns, but he has been a solid contributor off the bench.
