3. Is Tuesday’s finale important just so the team can have something positive to head into the off-season with?

Bourguet:Not really. Of course you want to get a home win to close out the season, but it’s not like beating the Clippers is going to erase the overwhelming sense of depression that’s surrounded this team for weeks.

Chasen: Same answer to number two. Maybe, but I doubt it. More than anything, this is a game against a team that many players on the Suns do not like. A win would be great from that perspective, but I don’t really think winning this game does that much for the team in the long run. Big game for Jerel McNeal though, but no spoilers.

Hann: No, not at all. With the way the Suns have played (with the exception of Gerald Green) over the last two weeks or so, they seem to be counting down the minutes until their summer vacation starts. Tuesday’s game is important for merely one thing: Seeing Green try to drop 50 in most-likely his last game as a Sun. We love you Gerald.

Saar: It certainly would be helpful, even if it is an unconscious benefit. Teams and players put the season behind them well every year and focus on the task at hand. It would be great for them to go out on a high note.

Schall: ? Ultimately no, what ever happens on Tuesday, everyone associated with this team is going to have a sour taste in their mouth regardless of what brand of mouthwash they are handed on the way out. The best thing that can happen is guys like T.J. Warren and Archie Goodwin balling out and giving both fans and more importantly the rest of the team a reminder that the post deadline struggles weren’t for naught.
