3. What excites you the most about T.J. Warren’s offensive game?

Bourguet: Warren just gets it. He understands how to put the ball in the hole, yes, but the way he does it is extremely effective, straight-forward and nearly impossible to stop. He moves off the ball, he knows how to finish underneath the basket and all of this is pretty darn impressive for a rookie.

Chasen: T.J. Warren just has a knack for putting the ball in the hoop. I would venture to say a ridiculous percentage of his baskets have come off broken plays or loose balls, where things just seem like they’re going wrong. Sometimes you need guys like that, and if he does develop, I think the Suns will be quite satisfied with the young forward from NC State.

Hann: Efficient beyond his years. When you watch the rookie play, you almost have to convince yourself that he is going to shoot less than 50% some nights. Not only is he the Suns 3rd best offensive option (behind Kieff and Bledsoe), but he may very well be their smartest player. Warren is only in the right position to make the right play at the right time, and never seems to get rattled by the moment, whether it’s scoring 18 points against OKC in the Suns biggest game of the season or lighting up Golden State to the tune of 15 fourth-quarter points in a nationally televised contest, the kid is good, really good. Barring the acquisition of a superstar forward, it’s safe to say you can pencil Warren in to the starting line-up next year.

Saar: The off-ball cutting is probably what we are all going to say. It’s just incredible and so rare on a Suns team of isolation plays, and drive and kick plays. Additionally his range on his floater just boggles my mind. It is just so good.

Harris: T.J. Warren has been absolutely phenomenal as his playing time has gone up. Just watching him play is so exciting. But the stat that impresses me the most is how efficient he has been as of late. In his last 4 games, Warren has shot a whopping 69% from the field and has scored an average of 13 points per game in that stretch. If these numbers carry on to next season, Warren will be a huge asset to the Suns.
