2. Is Brandan Wright worth bringing back to the team next season?

Bourguet: For the right price, yes. He’s one of the best backup bigs in the league, an extremely efficient finisher who likes to run the floor. He’s impressed filling in for Alex Len in the starting rotation, but other teams will be vying for his services too.

Chasen: It obviously depends on the deal, but if they can get him back without sacrificing too much money wise, I’m all for it. Wright is a good leader, and he can certainly help with the development of some of the Suns’ bigs, although I think there’s a far more difficult decision to make with the player that shares just under 77% of his name with Wright, in Brandon Knight.

Hann: Absolutely, Wright is a great fit for this team and provides a legitimate 1-2 center punch with Alex Len. Any questions about him fitting in was due to the stagnant offense that Phoenix had fallen into time and time again this year. Wright is one of the most athletic big men in the league, and in an offense that whips the ball around and can penetrate the paint, he can have a huge impact on that side of ball, and we all know what he can do defensively. On top of all that, Alex Len still has not shown he can stay healthy for a full season, these variables make Wright’s value to this team unquestioned. 3-years, $16-18 million should do the trick.

Saar: As I Tweeted out, I really hope the Suns resign Wright. He can get a lot better and fits in the system perfectly. Definitely good to re-sign. If it doesn’t work out then his contract would be a great trade chip.

Harris: The Suns should definitely keep Brandan Wright. I don’t think he should be a starter, but having a guy like Wright coming off the bench is very impressive. Honestly, the reason he is playing is because of Len’s injuries, so next season I see him as Len’s backup.
