Honorable Mention: Mar. 25 — vs. Sacramento Kings

Of the Suns’ remaining 14 games, only two of them come against opponents with losing records — the Sacramento Kings and the Utah Jazz. The Jazz have emerged as one of the league’s elite defenses since the All-Star break, meaning this game against the Kings is really the only “easy” opponent the Suns will get.

Unfortunately, Phoenix has had problems with DeMarcus Cousins and the Kings recently. The Suns’ last game against Sacramento ended in a heartbreaking Boogie buzzer-beater and Hornacek’s squad is 1-2 against the Kings this season.

If the Suns lose this game, they’re basically pulling the plug on their playoff hopes. They’ll be well-rested coming into this one, since their preceding game against the Dallas Mavericks is three days in advance. There’s really no excuse for losing to the Kings at home with the playoffs on the line.
